Simplistic Health Habits

10 Commandments

Hello and welcome to the Third installment of the Dream Workers newsletter.

Good day, Dreamers - It's a pleasure to speak with you all once again, I hope that your month of January has been filled with quality moments and you are ever closer to living the life you always have wanted for yourself.

As of recently I've been diving deeper into specific health related information and often times throughout this process I've found myself somewhat stunned by the vast amount of information regarding topics as simple as digesting your food. You eat a meal, digest it, then excrete the waste, simple enough right? What if I told you that your gut & GI Tract (Gastro-Intestinal Tract) consisted of more foreign organisms and bacteria than you have human organisms living inside your gut? Not so simple anymore.

Being health conscious can seem like a dubious task for somebody who is new to the process of taking care of themselves because there are so many intricate details to be conscious of. I realize that realistically, most people would like to live healthier lives without having to think about every minute detail of their daily lives. Which is why in this edition of the Dream Workers newsletter, I've decided to go over 10 Commandments of Simplistic Healthy Habits. This list will provide you with a base-line checklist of healthy habits to become conscious of. In due time, hopefully this thought process will become an unconscious thought process that integrates to being a part of your daily routine and thus helping you to live a healthier life in a simplistic fashion.

“Wellness is the complete integration of body, mind, and spirit – the realization that everything we do, think, feel, and believe has an effect on our state of well-being.”

Greg Anderson

The list that follows covers several variations of wellness that anyone can implement immediately into their lives, I suggest that you pick 2-3 favorites that you believe you'd get the highest ROI (return on investment) right away. As for the rest of the list, pick and choose for yourself which activity you'd like to partake in. Integration of all 10 Commandments may take some time nonetheless, I believe that these 10 Commandments individually all hold intrinsic value that anyone can utilize for their personal benefit. Creating a healthy life isn't difficult - letting go of your unhealthy habits is the hardest aspect to conquer when aiming to create a healthier life. There will be times when your old habits creep back into the picture, which is why it is of upmost importance to begin practicing new habits, so you have an action to replace your previous habits.

10 Commandments of Healthy Simplistic Habits

  1. Taking Walks

  2. Filling your lungs with air

  3. Reading a book you get lost in

  4. Preparing a home cooked meal

  5. Light stretching routine

  6. Moisturizing Daily

  7. Daily flossing of the teeth

  8. Journaling your thoughts

  9. Drinking a cup of tea

  10. Turning the phone off for x amount of time

Whether you decide to practice deep breathing exercises, floss your teeth every night before bed, or open that notebook and let your mind wander freely as your pen bleeds onto the page; it is important to remember that living a healthy life isn't supposed to be an insanely daunting task. Living a healthy life is supposed to be the norm - give your physical vessel the best chance of survival so that you may get the most out of your life as you continue to grow older.

Once you have taken the time to select 2-3 favorites from the list above - shoot me an email detailing which ones you've chosen and why. I'd love to hear your feedback!

May we all continue to find the best versions of ourselves, within ourselves.

Take care, and until next time - Keep Dreaming.
